Just Chillin!

Nothing exciting-but doing this because i said i would! Nothing more excting to report-same old same old. hubby is gone to Sundance until Sunday night. He HAS to wine and dine all the big wig clients at work. So-he pretty much is a glorified taxi driver. But-even though he said that he didn't want to go-i think that he will enjoy himself. I hope that the next post or two i might have some pics of some famouse people posing with my husband. That would be pretty cool! I am hoping to be able to go up there Friday sometime, but it is supposed to snow and he might be crazy busy-so we just have to kind of wait and see. So-hopefully I''l get to go, even if it to just get a break from the Girls and eat a carmel apple from Rocky Mtn. Chocolate Factory! Yum!!! I HATE to be cold though-so if i don't get to go-i will not be that torn up. So-i hope that everyone has a fabulous day!!!!

Way overdue update!

I know- i know. I am lame. I have not done one thing on this blog in almost a month. So-my new years resolution is to do better when it comes to my blog. Now that I know friends and family from far way that really care what i am doing-i will be better, Promise!!

Well-lets see, lots has happened since Christmas. First of all-we had a wonderful Christmas. I started getting sick-ok, i had pains in my abdomen and low back. This for those of you who don't know, this is a common occurance. About every 8 months or so i get this pain. So-i just kind of ignored it-just hoping that it would go away. It didn't, in fact it got worse. Lucky Me! So-we went to the Dr. and got to have some surgery for removal of Scar tissue. Again!!! I had it on the 8th-it wasn't too bad this time around. Not a lot-just enought to cause some pain-so they removed it and also put some new stuff inside that stops your body from producing as much scar tissue. Yea!! This surgery was really a good one. I was good to go after about 4 days. I know that this is pretty normal for others-but i am not normal when it comes to a lot of stuff-espescially health problems. So-I am really doing awesome. Not at the gym yet-but hopefully by next week. (it will be 2 weeks by then)

My 29th Birthday was on Sunday. We celebrated on Saturday. I was very spoiled!!! The girls and Kal got me some workout clothes and those new Nike shoes with the chip in them for your ipod. Way awesome! And then, too top it all off, I got to enjoy a 2 hour facial! It was heavenly! I told myself that every 12 pounds i lose-i get to have another one. I am definately being good because i want another one ASAP! If anyone from around here wants a fabulous facial-i will

give u my girls name. (valentines day is just around the corner:)

Santa came to our house! 8 and 6 must have been super good because they got a High School Musical Dance Mat. Not only does this light up to show you the dances, it also includes the music. So, with the touch of a button-it is like you are "in" High School Musical.
The favorite gift that Santa left under our tree was definately the MP3 players. The girls were dancing and jammin all day-come to think of it-they still are! They are fabulous for the car. Our little people have never been so quiet. I am sure that this will wear off-but for now-Mom is loving these also!

Christmas was so fun this year. We are so blessed to be surrounded with family and friends. They are the greatest gifts that we could ever receive! We love you all!

Christmas Fun

I decided that i should not hate to blog so much because it is really killing 2 birds with one stone. You all get to see what is happening in my life and one day-i might print it and it will count as a journal-right?

Anyway-we have had some fun christmas activities so far. We made a gingerbread house (out of a kit). That was fun. It was messy-the candy was grose, so the kids didn't eat it-that was good-well for a minute anyway. Graci stuck her finger in the fake aerosol snow and licked it. She assured me it was good-i will take her word for it!

We also were able to participate in a live nativity last week. It was pretty cool.(literally) The girls loved it. They had a donkey, a lamb, bunnies and a chicken. They were the 3 shepards- i think that they looked like little russians-but they were warm at least. They loved it and we were thrilled to be able to participate in such a fun new traditon.

able to attend a party tonight with some friends that i went to elementary, jr high and high school. What fun we had! We laughed and laughed.
