The first utah fall morning and fruity pebbles

Ok-I know that I might be a little behind on the times. But this one is so not my fault!

As you know, I live in Utah. Utah weather tends to do whatever in the heck it wants, regardless of the season. (yep we have got snow in June and been golfing in November)

Anyway-today is the first FALL day!

Yep-finally got here. Better late then never.

It was so chilly this morning that I got to drink my apple cider.
I know, I am lame.

I am not a cofee girl, and I have an issue with drinking hot things when it's hot.

Call me crazy.

So-I was so excited when I pulled out the "Cider Mug" that I had to call my husband.

He was not as excited as I was.

Oh well-I still thouroughly enjoyed it!

I will get to wear levi's today!
Yea!

I know that you all think that I am weird, but it has been over 100 for the past 4 months!

I am so sick of the heat!

Who knows-I might just get out the fall decor!

Ok-So I have a bone to pick with the Post Cereal people.

now, don't get me wrong, I love their cereal.
So good, sweet and tasty.

Cereal is a food group at our house.

I espescially love the TASTE of Fruity Pebbles.,

Yep-I love sugar!

The only problem with this sweet goodness is the size.

It is so small that it sticks to everything.

I hate dried on cereal anyway-but this one seems to have glue in it.

My kiddies love it! My husband hates it.

I am so torn!

What do I do?

So-if anyone reading this know someone from Post cereals, tell them to make this ceral just a little bit bigger. Just so it wont stick to every surface in my kitchen.

If they do not do this, I am sad to say-my hubby said that I could never buy it again.

Even if it's free, he said, DON"T TOUCH IT!
He is the "MURDERED OF FUN!"

Ok-one last thought-today is 4's first day of preschool.

She doesn't go until 12:30-she is having a very hard time waiting.

She already has her new High School Musical shirt on and her backpack.

She is walking around the house, trying to change every clock she is able to reach.

I am so ready to kick her.

I told her that I can't make time go by faster.

She told me that she could.

That is why she is changing the clocks.

I must say though, that is pretty smart.

Pretty sure I wouldn't have thought to do that when I was 4!

Have a great day! I am off to fix all of my clocks!

haha, I love that Graci is changing all the clocks...agreed, that is pretty smart of her! Ah I was so excited for it to be cold this morning! I almost busted out the cocoa latte....but Cooper had other things in mind for me. :-) Fruity Pebbles...hmm..I have no advice for you on that one...I once puked fruity pebbles (just as colorful coming back up might I add) and haven't really enjoyed them since.

Hilarious - but does she know that half the clocks don't work anyway?

That is a smart youngin there!!

I can't drink hot stuff when it's hot either, and even though it's 80 something here today,I got out some of the fall decor this weekend! I have to have the fall stuff up now so that it gets a chance to be seen before I decorate for Christmas entirely, inappropriately, early.

Funny! Mine were so excited to get the first day going also ... not to mention my Happy Dance in the school parking lot. ;)

Gotta love fall. I have been dreading the end of summer but I have to admit it is fun to get out the fall stuff and wear levis. Except this time I put on the levis they were a little tight on the butt area! Hummmm....wonder what that's all about! I am sure it has nothing to do with me, I bet that they shrunk in the wash. Yea let's go with that one! :)

Wow, super smart! She not only thought to change clocks but she already knows how to tell time. That's really good.

We don't have fall... the locals call it fall... but, um, I hate to break it to them EIGHTY DEGREE WEATHER is NOT fall. Sigh :(

Yesterday when it rained I did the happy dance as I flew open just about every window in the house to get that fresh fall smell.
I'm tired of the heat and am looking forward to 70-80 degree weather!

I remember when Chelsie puked Fruity Pebbles - it looked like tie dye in the toilet. TMI? Oh well. I am not an apple cider fan but I am glad you enjoyed your hot beverage. Graci is hilarious and I bet it took a long time to change them all back considering your fetish with clocks and how many you have ;)

What a fun post! I have to agree that Fruity Pebbles can be found weeks later in the crazy spots in the kitchen but they are fun!

I hope your daughter had a great day at school...hope that excitement last forever with school!

Taush - in response to your question, you are welcome anytime! Don't plan on me having any money but you guys are welcome. Tell Marci to call LeeAnn - you can all plan accordingly!

I too am so happy the weather is getting more "fall-ish" my favorite coffee, Pumpkin Spice, comes out at Starbucks tomorrow... I know you don't like coffee but oh my it's delicious and I pretend they bring it out for my birthday! Now, you can't really say that I have a holiday to decorate for as Halloween is two months away - BUT it is MY birthday and I can do whatever I want (like my sign said) and I always decorate for my birthday. You can decorate for Valentines Day for your birthday! By January I am already itching for Spring and pastels so I am yanking down the holiday decor - heck decorate for Easter! My son is due the end of January... somehow I doubt he'll care about decor though! OH... and Aaron did not blow up, the pop rocks and beer did nothing... it really is an urban ledgend! Thanks for the funny comment and birthday wishes!

I have never had Fruity Pebbles in my life. I know GASP! But they sound kinda yummy.

As for the how the first day of school went. I'll let you know tomorrow. We start tomorrow. I am excited to have 3 kids in school all day long. I might even have time to finish some much neglected projects.

I forgot....
I also only drink hot drinks when it's cold. And I have been wearing jeans all week. It's been freaking cold here lately.. My kids wore sweaters to church on sunday.

I am especially excited for this fall season because I didn't have any cute summer clothes. I know that sounds so materialistic. Seriously though I just had a baby and didn't want to buy clothes at a larger size. Then summer was almost over and I didn't want to waste the money on something I could only wear for a short time. So I opted to just tough out the season. I know I'm a dork.

I tried Fruity Pebbles once. I loved them, but had the same issue... way too small. I even tried doing 1/2 a bowl of cheerios and 1/2 pebbles. My thinking was that the cheerios would give the pebbles something to hold on to. It worked well enough to get me through the box. All this talk is getting me in the mood for some fruit flavored goodness.

That is Hilarious that she is changing all the clocks! Smart girl. I don't know why you are looking forward to fall...I LOVE fall but right after that comes winter and I HATE being cold! All though, I am a huge hot cocoa drinker...I will have to try the cider :)

Better late than never?? Fall is late?? lol I am cracking up because it's so hot here and the thought of wearing pants makes me hot all over. Though it doesn't stop me from drinking 3 cups of coffee every morning. Nothing would. :o) I'm not a Fruity Pebbles fan.... I have no advice. Other than switch to Fruit LOOPS!

I hope you managed to fix all your clocks! Fall weather is my favorite time of year. We're still stuck in the heat here in Texas. Hope your little one's first day of preschool went well!

Hey, at least she's not trying to stop the clocks. :)

And I love my morning hot chocolate (in my special mug) and jeans, too! Of course, these maternity jeans are not as comfortable...

I totally and completely agree with you on the fruity pebbles thing~ they DO stick to everything! Personally, I've decided they are too much work and not worth their keep...

Also, it's so funny about your daughter and the clocks! Smart girl, that one! :)

That is too funny that Graci is changing all the clocks to make the time go by faster...SMART!!!

On Wednesday, it was in the 70's with a strong North wind....it felt WONDERFUL!!! Actually the next week it is only supposed to be in the mid to low 80's...not too bad for Oklahoma weather!!!

It's been chilly here too!!

too cute about her changing the clocks! Im acutally partial to cocoapebbles my self, but I agree...very small!!!

and the hot weather is still here in Texas...do you mind blowing some utah air here? I was in Utah a few years ago and loved it! I could acutally walk around downtown and not sweat! I walk down the street to get my mail here and have lost 10 pounds! lol

LOL, one of my kids thought he could control the time too. Just because he said so.
