Ok-I so I have a confession.
It's kind of an embarassing thing.
I wouldn't just tell anybody.
Only my closest friends and family.
I figure no one will judge me here.
We are all accepting of each other flaws-right?
I hide my chocolate.
Notice I said MY CHOCOLATE!
I went to the store and used my husbands hard earned money to buy that chocolate
therefore, it's mine!
I don't like to share.
Why?
Cause when I share, there is never any left when I really need a sweet fix.
So....I hide it.
Where do I hide it?
I have a table in the family room-it looks like a normal enough table.
But, it has a secret drawer. It's not really a secret, you can see the drawer, but no one ever opens it.
Suckas!!
I have another hiding place.
I just discovered it today.
I think it is the best place yet.
I have these ceramic indians that were my moms.
No ONE is to touch these. EveR!
They have been warned.
The inside of these little gems is hollow, the perfect place to stash my stash!
Please tell me that I am not alone.
If I am, I am ok with that.
I do have a hard time believing that I am the only mom who has a stash.
I also wont share my Diet Coke.
This is a whole nother post in itself.
My family (Chelsie) is laughing at me.
I have tried to kick it.
Notice I said TRY.
It's not worth it.
Sometimes you just need a little pick me up
I am off to look for more places to hide my yummies!
Where do you stash your stash.
I promise that i wont tell! I could use more places-a girl can never have too much chocolate!!
Have a Happy Monday!!!

Sugar - YOU ARE NOT ALONE!!
I have been hiding my chocs for years! It's not to say I am greedy or selfish !!! I make sure my kids have their chocs, and if my husband wanted his, I would make sure that he had his !!! But.....my chocolate is just that - MY CHOCOLATE !!!!!
The funny thing is I really don't have to hide things. Brad just doesn't think to look. I bought him the good quality chocolate milk once, he didn't even know it was in the fridge until 5 days later when I told him.
The indians!!?? Awesome, Tausha. Awesome.
This is hilarious. You are the master of disguise. ; ) I need some chocolate right now, in fact. We have some Starbucks vanilla bean truffles. May have to go sneak one.
Oh yeah I hide mine too, and when the hiding place is discovered, they always hear the bag or wrapper.... BUSTED... I find a new hiding spot... I have my little ones believing that Mother's cookies are only for mothers to eat, and that M&M's are also for moms I show them the big M on the bag...hahahaha
This is hilarious! The sad thing is mine never lasts long enough to hide.
Being without a family, I don't have to hide mine. BUT I am terribly addicted to diet coke too. I try to quit every three months or so! But, I just can't do it!
I usually hide my chocolate in my tummy.
Or on the top shelf in the pantry behind the oatmeal.
Or under all the stuff in the bottom drawer of my dresser, or the glove box in the car, or the back of the freezer, or behind the garbage can in my office.........
Hair product advice... spill it. I want it straight, tame, not frizzy and I want it to remain that way through rain and humidity (I live in Florida). What do you recommend?

Oh and LOL about hiding chocolate. I think you are a genius!
I hide my chocolate in my desk. I had a "document holder" thingy that I don't think has ever worked. Now it folds down, leaving a little hollow spot underneath that is perfect for a couple of those giant chocolate bars and is completely concealed from anyone else.
remember when mom thought that she had hiding places and we all really knew where they were? ya, your kids are so gonna be that way. you wait til grace opens that bottom drawer!!
Women are all the same! I am way selfish with my treats, always hiding them from my hubby. He goes through 'em too fast and then when I'm really feelin' like a treat, they're gone. I get pretty ticked. I just put 'em in the back of some cupboard behind everything else.
I love how you call your girls by #. It's hilarious!
My sis Sher set Stacey a blog up. It's tystace.blogspot.com. Stace doesn't like some of the stuff on it, but hopefully she'll get into it soon and do what she wants with it. Anyway, thought you'd want to know.
A laundry hamper in my room that never gets used.
Tampon box, empty of course. These are the only 2 places in the house I have had any success with.
Your hiding places crack me up. Under the Indian Heads is the best! I was never a big chocolate fan until I had kids, now I can't seem to get enough. I need to find a good hiding place for my chocolate, the only problem is that is doesn't usually stay around long enough to even hide!
luckily your brother isn't a sweets man, so coop and i get to eat all the junk in the house. my mom had hiding places too though....we'd always find them though then eat so much it made us sick then hurry and put it back when she came home...my dad was included in that...my mom still hides things from him
Oh friend girl...you're not alone! This post had me laughing out loud because I do the same thing. It's nice to know I'm not the only selfish chocolate hoarder mommy out there. I hide my stash on the top shelf of the pantry. My kids are still such little shrimps, even with a chair they wouldn't come close! As for my hubbs...he knows better. He doesn't touch my stash of chocolate or Dr. Pepper.
Smart man.
I hide my chocolate in my underwear drawer, towards the back. And I eat it in the bathroom with the door locked.
It's getting easier to come out in the open with my chocolate though, the older the kids have gotten.
Have a great day.
Sandra
That is SOoooo Funny!!! We are on a "diet" around hear so there is no hiding necessary! Guilt.... it's a pretty good deterant. For the hubby that is, he has more self control than me. I just eat it when no ones around and therefor doesn't count!
Oh my goodness..this cracked me up...I LOVE IT!

This cracked me up! I do not hide my chocolate, but I think that makes me the loser here! Brilliant!
